For over a decade, Damas MMS:Inca has proven to be the right solution for managing the Scheduling and dispatch processes of an HVDC interconnector. It covers operational needs from real-time monitoring of the link status to the actual dispatch of power orders. It represents one of the key and business critical systems supporting the actual control of the HVDC interconnector. Functionally, it is a direct link between the allocation or nomination systems and the real-time control of the HVDC interconnector as such. Inca transforms the received commercial nomination values into operational instructions used to adjust target flow on the HVDC link.
Damas MMS:Inca handles the reception and processing of Nominations (Commercial Schedules) from any Nomination Platform. It ensures the Reference Program declaration to TSOs (declaration or acceptance process), the Physical Schedule (Power Orders) generation, and Power Order Instructions submission to the HVDC Control and Protection system.
The Monitoring tools cover all the involved business processes, including the daily IC declaration, Outage handling, or Ancillary Services.
