Unicorn Builds a New Trade Management System for the Gas Transmission System in the Czech Republic

Unicorn has won the competitive tender to implement a comprehensive IT system for trade management of the gas transmission system in the Czech Republic.
The tender was issued by NET4GAS (www.net4gas.cz), the company operating the gas transmission system (TSO) and the sole license holder for gas transmissions in the Czech Republic. Unicorn Systems has succeeded in the tender with a proposal built on a proven energy product, Damas MMS:G.

To meet the needs of NET4GAS, this robust information system will cover especially the following areas:
- Automation of business and technical processes in the gas transmission system in the Czech Republic;
- Flexible and automated communication between the transmission system operator, other market participants (including particularly domestic and foreign traders, gas storage facilities, distribution system operators, or foreign gas transmission system operators), and authorities (such as market operators);
- Compliance with the European law governing the gas industry.

The implementation project also requires compliance with demanding security requirements and integration with other information systems employed by NET4GAS.
The delivery includes the system, as well as its servicing, operation, and upgrading for 10 years, in the 24/7/365 mode, which is necessary for critical processes of this kind.
